We first met Puti at Arta Derau, which is her Bali based ceramics studio, through our friend Tika a few years ago. Immediately, we were drawn to her bubbly personality and the charming sunset view at her open air studio up in Tegallalang, just outside Ubud. We fell in love with her quirky and artistic approach to her tactile and hand built style of ceramics, celebrating the little intricacies and differences between each piece. She welcomed us last week at Arta Derau with her cheerful and carefree charm, where we spent the day getting crafty and chatted about all things ceramics.
