In this Little Chats we meet Rahel (aka
@linda_from_accounting on Instagram), the cook behind @eatwithsp00ns. Born in Jakarta, Rahel moved to London in 2013 for her university studies. There, finding a lack of representation of authentic Indonesian cuisine, she was inspired to start Spoons. A plant-based supper club known to sell out rapidly, Spoons is about sharing food with purpose. Focused on teaching through fostering a community experience, it’s been an incredible step towards giving Indonesian food a much-needed platform within the Western context. We loved speaking to Rahel, asking her about culture shock, creating community, her favourite Indonesian food, and what she’s learnt about herself throughout this time.
