Care
We create our pieces to be long-lasting, but with the right care, they’ll stay soft, vibrant, and in your home for years to come. Whether you're snuggling into our bamboo bedding or wearing your favourite cotton set, here’s how to keep them feeling their best.
Daily Care
-
Air out your sheets between uses.
-
Spot clean any stains as soon as possible for the best chance of removal.
-
Pull back your doona in the morning to let your bed breathe.
-
Hang your pyjamas between wears instead of storing them under your pillow.
These simple habits help reduce the need for frequent washing — which is better for the planet and the integrity of your pieces.
Note on bamboo: Because we don’t treat our bamboo with harsh chemicals, you may notice slight pilling during initial use — this is normal and will soften over time or can be removed with a de-piller. It’s not considered a fault.
Washing Instructions
For Bamboo
-
Wash once a week to avoid build-up of oil and sweat.
-
Machine wash inside out on a cold, gentle cycle (no hotter than 20°C, max 800rpm).
-
Wash with like colours.
-
Use a mild, eco-friendly detergent.
-
Avoid: fabric softeners, bleach, Napisan, tea tree oil, or brightening agents.
-
Don’t overload your machine — it causes extra friction.
-
Avoid rough fabrics like denim or anything with zippers or buttons.
For Cotton
-
Also best washed once a week to keep it soft and fresh.
-
Machine wash inside out on a gentle, cold or low heat cycle (no hotter than 30°C, max 800rpm).
-
Wash with like colours.
-
Use a small amount of mild, eco-friendly detergent.
-
Avoid: fabric softeners, bleach, Napisan, essential oils, or brightening agents.
-
Don’t overload the machine and avoid washing with rough fabrics.
Drying
-
Remove pieces from the machine as soon as the cycle finishes.
-
Line dry in the shade — direct sun or high heat can fade and shrink natural fibres.
-
Do not tumble dry, wring, or rub your pieces.
-
Avoid drying outside on extremely hot days, especially with bamboo.
Aftercare
-
Lightly stretch your pieces after washing to help natural fibres return to shape and reduce creasing.
-
Steam if needed to relax fibres and restore fit.
-
If ironing, use a cool setting on the reverse side for bamboo, and a warm setting for cotton.
-
Most creases will naturally soften with body warmth — so ironing is optional.
